You can bring anything that is broken, and you can carry. Typical repairs include: basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair, and woodworking, though the repairers will have a look at most things.

No, the Repair Café is only open at the advertised times. Because you may need to wait for a repairer to be available, you are advised to come not later than 12:30.
-
No, the Repair Café Lambeth is a meeting place where volunteer fixers mend broken items of their neighbours and is not a repair service.
-
Advice and help from our volunteer repairers are free of charge. Our group is passionate about waste prevention, thus the service is free, yet we very much appreciate a cash donation. There are some costs associated with the Repair Café, such as spare parts, tools, consumables, refreshments etc. If you happen to not have cash on you, you can use your card or make an online donation.
-
We don’t have a large quantity of spare parts in stock. If repair can’t be carried out with what is available, you will be advised what and where to buy. It might be possible to fix your item later same day, or during the next Repair Café event.
-
Please bring only ONE item. Should time allow, extra items may be considered for assessment, but you will need to go back to the end of the queue.
-
Yes! We want to raise awareness of repairing and reusing instead of ‘throwing away’, so please come and watch volunteers perform the repairs and learn from them. Please ask beforehand at the check-in desk, or the repairer, if they are happy with you observing.
-
We are dependent on our wonderful team of volunteers to make the Repair Café run. If you are interested in becoming a volunteer repairer, or helping as a welcomer, serving teas and coffees, setting up or clearing down, etc, please either email us on: olga.osuch@integrateagency.co.uk or come along to one of the next events to see how the Repair Café works.
